Chema-Elektromet Spółdzielnia Pracy is a private pharmaceutical company operating on the market for over 70 years. Initially, the main source of income was production and services of various profiles, pharmaceutical production was only a fraction of the Company’s activity.
In the 1990s, pharmaceutical production was the core activity of the Cooperative. And so it is to the present time.
The Company has two production plants, one of which manufactures medicinal products and the other one produces medical devices.
The strategic goal of Chema-Elektromet Spółdzielnia Pracy is the production of pharmaceuticals of the highest quality that meet specific therapeutic requirements, needs and expectations of both patients and the medical community.

The Company’s offer includes over 90 different products, mainly for dentists and dermatologists.
Dermatological production is mainly antibiotic ointments with various active substances applicable in most skin diseases.
Dental production is mainly medical devices necessary in every dental office. We manufacture medical devices and medicinal products used in conservative dentistry, endodontics, maxillofacial surgery, dental prosthetics and preparations used in the prevention and treatment of caries and periodontal diseases.
The growing competition of new generations of medicinal products and medical devices, as well as the great progress in the work of physicians, means that the list of the Cooperative’s products is expanded every year in pursuit of trends with new items. In the development of technology and the implementation of new products, Chema cooperates with many scientific and research centers in Poland, e.g. Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Medical University in Poznań, Medical University of Silesia in Zabrze, Medical University in Wrocław, Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Rzeszów University of Technology and the Institute of Glass and Ceramics in Warsaw. In these centers, new preparations are tested and examined in physical, chemical and medical terms. The cooperation results in high-quality materials, gaining recognition on the market and among specialists.
